We can measure sucess in many ways, but's it's nice to see the numbers on the scale go down!
Today at my own weigh in the scale told me I have reached my 10% goal. This means that I've lost 10% of my starting weight. I don't miss me at all!
I have been wanting this since the beginning and I've wanted to hit this benchmark before Easter--and I did!
But really, I wanted to hit this mark before we went home for Easter. At Christmas time, when I was at the heaviest I've ever been, I dreaded going home. I knew no one would say anything about how fat I'd gotten, but I knew they would think it. My brother showed me a picture of Christmas morning. Not only did I look hideous because it was morning, but I was hidious because I was poured into my clothes and I didn't look good. Now those same clothes hang off of me. I don't say all of this to brag, but just to mark how much I've worked. The way my clothes fit is another way I can measure my progress.
I am just so happy that I'm where I'm at today. I've come far with my weight loss goals, and this gives me the drive to keep on going to the next 10%.
