Being good and staying on plan is hard, but it works. I am down 3 pounds from my month long plateau. My goal of losing 5% of my current body weight by Christmas is not only becoming a reality, but will be something that I can exceed.
Portion control is key.....I still measure out my food from time to time, well really most of the time. It's better for me that way. I've also gone back to just eating as much plant matter as I can at every meal. I tell you, I feel so good after eating fruits, veg and grain.
I still find it hard to go thru the supermarket check out with out grabbing a candy or something, but the temptaion is less and less. I always tell myself, you can have that Snickers, or something you like better, which is a low fat graham cracker, with a marshmellow and a little spread of Nutella warmed up in the microwave. That is waaaaaay better than any candy bar, with the exception of perhaps a Lindor Truffel or a Ghiridelli carmel bar -- but they don't sell those at the check out!
Anyway.....things are good, the clothing is fitting, my husband is going crazy because of the new bod, and that is the way it should be!
