This weeks results: down 1.5 pounds, which is good, considering I'm not allowed to do impact excercise on my foot.
Two friends have joined WW. They go to the meetings, and wondered why I didn't. I just don't want to really. And it's money every week, that I can use other ways. I'll stick to my home plan. But, in talking with both of them, they asked how I did my meal planning etc. Also they asked how my husband was doing with me on WW. They were both floored when I said, he does it with me--and happily I might add. Both of their husbands are afraid they will "starve" or be reduced to eating twigs and berries. That wouldn't be a bad thing for either of these guys, but it did make me even more thankful for my husband who is very supportive and actually likes eating less.
I'm only 11 pounds from my original goal. I want to loose 10 lbs on top of that, which is not bad. However, being sidelined has put new persepctive on that. I think I might just have to go with the 11 and call it a draw. Now that I know what plantar facitis is and how much it hurts and can disrupt your life, I don't want that to happen. I need to use caution--so I don't end up needing surgery for my foot. That would really sideline me.
